Benjamin Franklin was born on January sixth, 1706 on Milk Street in Boston. He had seventeen brothers and sisters! His father was Josiah Franklin and his mother was Anne Franklin. Ben had many jobs in which included a scientist a printer and a newspaper editor.
Accomplishments
Ben Franklin was a founding father of the United States of America. He helped write the Declaration of Independence. He signed it, too. He opened the first lending library in the country and he also began the first volunteer fire department.Franklin expieremented with electricity. Ben invented paved streets, bifocals, which are a special kind of glasses and the Franklin stove. He created a newspaper called "Poor Richards Almanack"
