     Benjamin Franklin was born on January sixth, 1706 on Milk Street in Boston. He had seventeen brothers and sisters! His father was Josiah Franklin and his mother was Anne Franklin. Ben had many jobs in which included a scientist a printer and a newspaper editor.

        

 

 

                                                        Accomplishments

     Ben Franklin was a founding father of the United States of America. He helped write the Declaration of Independence. He signed it, too. He opened the first lending library in the country and he also began the first volunteer fire department.Franklin expieremented with electricity. Ben invented paved streets, bifocals, which are a special kind of glasses and the Franklin stove.           1730-Franklin married Deborah Read  and had a son named William Franklin

          1733- Benjamin started writing a newspaper called Poor Richard's Almanack

          1736-Franklin invented the first fire company

          1743- Franklin had a daughter named Sarah Franklin, Sally for short 

          1758-Ben ceased from writing the almanack

           1775- Benjamin Franklin helped to write the Declaration of Independence

          1775-Battle of Bunker Hill; Battles of Lexington and Concord

          1776- The Declaration of Independence is signed;America is a free country     

          1790-Bejamin Franklin dies of old age
